Frequently Asked QuestionsProduct Availability and PricingIf you are trying to find any product on our site, you either search the categories showing on the left side of your screen, or you can use the Search box. This website is our only "catalog" and outlet. We do not have stores or distributors elsewhere. Nor do we offer smaller or bulk quantities nor wholesale prices and discounts, other than what you see on this web site.
What Is the Minimum Order Required?Skylighter Fireworks requires a minimum order of $595. This means $595 worth of products ordered.
I Would Like to Start an Order and Return Later to Finish It. Can I Do This?Yes. To do this, add any number of items to your shopping cart. Even if you don't begin the checkout process, your items will be saved in your shopping cart. You can then return at a later date, click "Your Cart" and you will see all of the items you added to your shopping cart. You may then add or remove new items and checkout as normal. Important: No items will be reserved for you until your order is complete and has been submitted to SkylighterFireworks.com.
Out of Stock ProductsWe make every attempt to keep our entire inventory in stock all of the time. But from time to time we will be out of stock on certain items. Where possible, we note this on the web site along with an expected date that new inventory will be back in stock. If we are out of an item, we will contact you and ask if you would like to substitute something else. If we do not hear back from you within a reasonable period of time, we will go ahead and ship your order without that item. You will not be charged for any items which are out of stock. Unfortunately it is not practical for us to "back order" out-of-stock items and ship them to you later.
Items Missing from Your ShipmentSee Out of Stock Products above. It is possible that one or more of the items you ordered were out of stock by the time we received your order. We make every attempt we can to let you know ahead of time if we're out of something. But if we were not able to reach you, we may have shipped the order without the out-of-stock item. Please check your invoice or packing list and see if the item is shown there as having been shipped. If the shipping document shows the item as having been shipped, you should call us immediately.
Lost or Damaged OrdersSkylighter Fireworks ships all orders in excellent condition. The fireworks are inspected and the boxes we use are designed to protect fireworks during shipment. Skylighter Fireworks recommends that you inspect the firework boxes as soon as you receive your order while the delivery driver present. If the exterior of any boxes are visibly damaged (water damage, rips, major dents, etc), Skylighter Fireworks recommends that you open the boxes with the delivery driver present and take note of any damaged fireworks. Please contact Skylighter Fireworks immediately after your discovery of the damaged goods, and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If you discover that the fireworks have been damaged after you receive your order, and the driver has gone, please call Skylighter Fireworks and let us know the details. Again, we will work with you to solve any problems.
Can SkylighterFireworks.com Ship to You?Skylighter Fireworks ships only to addresses in the 48 contiguous US states. If there are any restrictions on where a particular product can be shipped, they are shown with each product. If you don't see any restrictions, the product can be shipped to you, except for the states listed below.
Due to legal restrictions Skylighter Fireworks cannot ship fireworks to the list of restricted states below unless you have a display permit.
How Much Does Shipping Cost?Nothing. Shipping is free. If you use our Free Shipping option, your shipping will cost you nothing.
After I Place My Order, How Long Will It Take to Receive My Fireworks?We normally ship orders one to two days after you place your order. Orders are shipped out five days a week, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Your order will normally arrive within 10 days from the time you place your order.
Are Fireworks Legal in My State?You may want to consult with the state, county, and local officials in the area that you will be shooting fireworks. Even in states where fireworks are permitted, certain counties and cities may have additional restrictions. Your local fire department will usually be aware of firework laws in your area. Note that in many areas it is illegal to shoot fireworks unless you have a permit. Please consult with your local officials in order to obtain a permit. Please obey the firework laws where you will be transporting, distributing, and discharging fireworks.
Can I Pick Up My Order At SkylighterFireworks.com?Sorry, but we are not able to offer that option.
How Can I Pay for My Order?You can pay using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) or you can mail your order in with your payment. Whether you want to order online or to mail/fax/email your order in, just use the shopping cart.
To use a credit card to pay online, simply add all the items to your cart, then proceed to checkout. If you are paying by credit card online, simply complete the checkout process. Note that your card will not be charged until we ship your order. Before completing the process, we will get an authorization from your credit card company to charge you later. If your card does not have sufficient funds available, you will be notified in the shopping cart, and asked for a different credit card. To send your order in by fax, mail, or email, you should also use the shopping cart. At the same screen where you chose your credit card, you will see an option to print out a copy of your order and mail it to us with your payment. You can use this printout as a pro-forma invoice, or a quote. If you send payment by mail, it must be either a cashier’s check or money order. Sorry, no personal checks. Setting Up A New AccountIf you are a first-time buyer on the SkylighterFireworks.com web site, or if you have ordered from SkylighterFireworks.com before, but did not place your previous order through the web site, you can set up an account, including a user name and password. It’s easy to do and the shopping cart will prompt you for everything needed, when you start the Checkout part of the process.
If you already have an account at Skylighter.com, our sister company, you will not have to set up a separate account here at SkylighterFireworks.com. Just use your Skylighter.com user name (your email address) and password. If you have forgotten it, click here. ConfidentialitySkylighterFireworks.com does not share/rent/sell its customers' names with anyone. We do not report our sales to any government agency. We are not required to report your purchases of any items to any government or regulatory agency. We ARE required to provide sales records to investigating agencies when directed to do so by regulations or a court subpoena. We ARE required to show our records to some governmental agencies which are legally allowed to make spot checks and examine them periodically.

Technical Questions About Using FireworksIf you have a question about using fireworks, you are certainly welcome to write and ask us. We do attempt to answer all emails that come to us, but unfortunately we are not able to answer all your technical questions right away. There are a number of fireworks and pyrotechnic newsgroups on the Internet, such as rec.pyro, where you will also be able to get all sorts of help and advice as well (see Fireworks Resources).
